We look forward to welcoming you to our lovely house, named after an admiral. It has been an inspector’s residence for many years, and in its prosperous days, has housed the farm’s many men and girls. Now it houses Edelsminde Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to accommodating you for one or more nights in one of our beautiful and well-appointed rooms.

Located just 500 meters from Gisselfeld Kloster and 6 km south of Haslev. With our location, we are the perfect starting point for countless experiences and excursions. Explore the southern part of Zealand that contains everything from Svenskekløften to Camp Adventure and BonBon-Land. Edelsminde Bed & Breakfast is a part of the old Gisselfeld yard. The original farm is from the 19th century and named after Admiral Edele Sophie Kaas. The current building dates from 1932 and still bears the name Edelesminde. In choosing a name for our Bed & Breakfast, we have decided to simplify it into the more mundane “Edelsminde”.

The architecture of the house bears the impression of having been an inspector’s residence with large rooms and high ceilings on the west end, and a courtyard with room for the working men and women, as well as the kitchen and living room to the east.

We are the new host couple – who took over this whole glorious place in autumn 2021.

We are both nature lovers and enjoy when life exudes peaceful oases with sensual experiences.

We practice mindful living and love to pass on “the good life” to our customers – in the experience of silence, peace and tranquility, deliciously prepared food and drink, wellness and mindfulness through yoga and being present in the NOW in beautiful surroundings inside and out .
